Disadvantages and discriminations faced by women and girls in Uganda severely limits their ability to lift themselves out of poverty, as a result, women are more likely to work in informal, low wage jobs with exploitation and unequal working conditions and have restricted access to affordable quality financial services like a savings account or small loan.

ADAW International helps women have access to basic financial services such as Bank accounts, small loans and focuses on strengthening women; Economic decisions making power through skilling of women in various hands on skills like vocational baking, tailoring, hair dressing among others.

ADAW International also centers on programs that enable a supportive environment for women and girls to have a space for entrepreneurship development in both the household and the community.

ADAW International works with women to ensure that they have work places that provide for adequate wages and safe working conditions, protection from sexual harassment and gender best violence.

ADAW International provides strategic linkages and corroboration frame work for advocates to provide legal aid services to venerable members of the society through lobbying and advocacy, networking, coordination and collaboration and litigation.
